The administration of Südwolle is situated in Nürnberg.

The spinning mills are located in Germany, Poland and China. Each production facility can adjust its yarn range to market according to demand. In addition to the central organisation, each production unit is responsible for quality control, productivity and personnel decisions. In these fields, the mills basically compete with each other, which ensures the world-wide competitiveness of the Südwolle group.

Raw wool and wool tops are bought centrally and distributed to the mills. The product mix is determined in close cooperation with the Sales Department. This team is represented by a compact network of agents and sales subsidiaries in the centre of all the major worsted yarn markets worldwide.

Communication from mill to central administration is of course via electronic means. Today's customer and market structure demand a centralised stock in Europe with prompt deliveries of the total product from one location. This service is complemented by direct deliveries from a second central stock in China.
